Moving with care
Piano Moving
Special attention for a special instrument.
Specialized piano movers in Bellevue, Seattle, and the Eastside since 1977. Safe handling of uprights, baby grands, and grand pianos on stairs and tight terrain.
The instrument and the route both matter.
Pianos combine substantial weight with delicate surfaces and mechanisms. Access Gentle Moving offers piano moving as a dedicated service. Tell us whether you have an upright, baby grand, or grand piano and describe the route out of the current space and into the next one.
Help us assess your piano move.
A few details at the estimate stage make it easier to discuss the appropriate handling plan.
- Piano type, make, and approximate dimensions
- Stairs, landings, and tight turns at both locations
- Doorway widths and elevator access
- Photos of the instrument and its access route
Moving as part of a household relocation?
Mention your piano when you first discuss the household move. It should be included in the planning rather than treated as an unexpected extra on moving day. Ask your piano technician about tuning after the instrument has settled into its new environment.
Before you request an estimate
What details should I have ready?
Share your origin and destination, preferred date, the items or rooms involved, and any stairs, elevators, or parking restrictions. Mention packing help and specialty items before scheduling.
Can I include packing or specialty moving?
Yes—discuss the help you need with the team. Piano and safe moves require information about the item and access route so the requirements can be assessed.
Is an estimate a confirmed booking?
No. An estimate request starts a conversation. Confirm the scope, pricing, availability, and schedule directly with Access Gentle Moving before treating your move as booked.
